I can hardly believe that we have been back at school for three weeks now! The children are very settled and are working extremely hard.
Our Building Learning Power (BLP) skill this week is 'Perseverance'. We want the pupils te be resilient learners when faced with a challenge. We want them to keep trying and not give up. I can't wait until Friday to find out who our Learners of the Week will be.
Our advanced dance group in Years 5 & 6, are going to the Royal Opera House tomorrow to watch a Royal Ballet performance. Look out for their review of this visit in the newsletter next week.
Mrs Masters, our Maths leader, ran the first Maths Fest on Tuesday. The children in Year 6 really enjoyed the afternoon of practical maths games and their basic knowledge was tested. Parents were invited at 2.30pm and found the session informative and fun. We are looking to welcoming Year 5 and their parents to next week's session. This will take place on Tuesday 29th September.
