We are now over halfway through the first term and I continue to be so impressed with how well the pupils have settled and by the progress that they are already making.
There have been some very exciting things happening in school this week. The Reception pupils had a visit from ‘Pirate Heath’, Nursery pupils have been using magic wands to cast spells and Year 2 pupils have been digging for dinosaur bones!
Our Building Learning Power (BLP) skill this week is'Listening'. The pupils have been learning the skills that they need, in order to be a good listener. In assembly on Tuesday we also found out about the ‘European Day of Languages’, which took place on 26th September. It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the many languages that are spoken by the pupils in our school.
Over the next two weeks we are holding our first parents’ evenings of this academic year. These will take place on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 15th October. We look forward to seeing all parents/carers over these two evenings.
