Wow! It's another busy week in school. We're all impressed by the progress that the children are making this term and hope that those of you who attended Parents' Evening this week, were also impressed. All remaining parents should have an appointment to see your child's teacher on Thursday 15th October. If you don't have this appointment, please let your child's teacher know and they'll arrange something for you. We pride ourselves on the fact that all parents attend Parents' Evenings.
Our BLP skill this week is 'absorption' and the children are all working very hard to focus completely on the task at hand. We've been practising in BLP assembly this morning.
Also this week, we've celebrated National Poetry Day by learning and performing poems. Children were set a challenge to write their own poems and some children have chosen to share these today with the whole school. Well done to them. Ask your child if they can remember 'Please Mrs Butler' which they learnt in BLP assembly this morning.
As I write this, a group of children are at the Daventry Schools Festival of Rugby to celebrate the Rugby World Cup being held in England. We're sure they will perform to the best of their ability and give it their all. We know they'll have a fabulous day.
We look forward to seeing you tomorrow ifor our Celebration Assembly, to help us to celebrate all that has been achieved in school this week.
