Who will my child’s class teacher be?

Our Nursery and Reception classes work as an EYFS unit. Your child will be placed into a Key Worker group and given a Key Worker, this adult will be the person who is your first port of call should you have any queries, due to the way our provision runs your child will be taught by all members of our EYFS team.

Which classroom will my child be in?

Your child will have access to our whole EYFS unit, including the Reception classrooms (Ash) and the Nursery classroom (Saplings), as well as our extensive outdoor provision.

Which phonics scheme do you teach?

We follow Little Wandle Phonics.

What does my child need to bring to school with them?

Your child will need to bring their PE kit to school and it can be left on their peg. We also ask that every child has a spare set of clothes in case of accidents or if they become wet and messy when playing. If your child is prone to accidents please ensure you send plenty of spare underwear and clothing. We spend lots of time outside, we ask that children bring a named pair of Wellington boots that will stay at school. Children also need to have suitable clothing for outside activities (hat and suncream applied during the summer months and coats, hats and gloves during the winter months). Please provide a named water bottle daily
